Because we offer a traditional curriculum that trains students at all levels to attain professional skills, admission into the Olivet College Visual Arts Program does not require the formal presentation of a portfolio. That said, we’d love to see what kind of work you’ve done up until this point. Below are several guidelines that will, hopefully, provide relevant information and put you at ease in terms of sharing your artwork with us.
    • Relax! We're not looking for professional work - we're looking for your best work. We're looking at design quality, color usage, craftsmanship, draftsmanship, composition, and concept development.
    • The works can be in any discipline or medium, including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, graphic design, etc.
    • Submit what you think are your best pieces. Typically, this will be work that reflects your individual interests and personality.
    • Include pieces that you truly enjoy.
